Muse ("Muse," "we," or "us") is a curated gift-idea guide. This policy explains what information, if any, is collected when you visit muse-mu-ten.vercel.app (the "Site") and how it's used.
Information we collect
Muse doesn't have user accounts, doesn't ask you to sign up or log in, and doesn't run any forms that collect your name, email, or other personal information. Browsing the Site does not require giving us any personal information.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical data for every visit — things like IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed — for security and performance purposes. We don't use this data to identify you personally.
The idea generator ("Musemaker")
The Musemaker tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type in — details about the person you're shopping for — is never sent to a server, stored, or seen by us. It only exists on your device, for that session.
Analytics
Muse uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic patterns — things like which pages get visited and how people generally navigate the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this, and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate; we don't use it to identify you individually. You can learn more about how Google handles this data in Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser add-on.
The fonts on this Site are also loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those font files, subject to the same Google privacy policy.
Amazon Associates
Muse is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. When you click a "Shop" link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Once you leave our Site for Amazon (or any other retailer), your activity there is governed by that site's own privacy policy, not this one.
Other links to third-party sites
Product links on Muse point to Amazon and, occasionally, other retailers. We don't control and aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Children's privacy
Muse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with the "Last updated" date above revised accordingly.
